Summary of Duties

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in Environmental Engineering such as Biological Wastewater Treatment and Environmental Microbiology at the Pullman campus; maintaining a robust, externally-funded research program, and participating in service at the department, college, and university levels. The research component is expected to include a significant interdisciplinary aspect involving collaborations with the Stormwater Initiative as well as other water quality areas of interest to the candidate.

Required Qualifications

Required qualifications include 1) an earned doctorate degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely aligned field by the date of hire, 2) a strong background in environmental engineering and microbiology, and 3) a record of research accomplishment as demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications and extramural grants commensurate with rank.
