Summary of Duties

The Psychologist, under the direction of the Behavioral Health Director, will be responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and referral of student mental health needs. This position provides clinical health and primary care psychology specific services to the student health population.

Position Qualifications

Required Qualifications

A doctoral degree in Psychology, or equivalent including completion of pre-doctoral internship.

Additional Requirements

Doctorate in clinical psychology.

Possession of, or ability to obtain within one year of hire, licensure to practice counseling/professional psychology in Washington State.

Successful experience providing one-on-one counseling in the areas of healthy relationships, life balance, and healthy life choices.

Preferred Qualifications

Work experience that demonstrates ability to assist with crisis management.

Experience working with a diverse student population.

Demonstrated experience administering and interpreting cognitive-based academic testing (ADHD, LD).

Demonstrated experience within clinical health and primary care settings.

Training in clinical health and primary care psychology at the internship and post-doctoral levels.
